There are peaks and valleys, but staying humble and grounded has taught me that God can do anything He wants; we have to be willing to listen.

Andrew McKain

Owner

Andrew McKain, owner and founder of MPS, began his journey with Power Systems working for Mustang Cat in the Electric Power Generation group. In short time, he developed a passion for the industry as his knowledge grew and he quickly rose in the company.

Andrew has EGSA certifications and Cat University Online Training under his belt and, upon moving into Mustang’s Used Power Systems Division, he diversified his skill set while learning about different applications including: Standby Power, Prime Power, Petroleum (Drilling/Frac/Pumps), Industrial Engines and Power Units, Marine Applications, Gas Compression, and more.

With his new found expertise and an unyielding entrepreneurial spirit, Andrew established McKain Power Systems in 2020.

Trent Goebel

Sales Manager

After graduating with an Agricultural Mechanization degree from Sam Houston State University, Trent began a 10-year career in the construction equipment industry.

He later transitioned into the power equipment industry and spent most of his career at Mustang CAT where he served as a Product Support Sales Representative in the Electric Power Generation Division. Trent joined the McKain Power Systems team in June of 2022 and is the General Sales Manager.

Jason Barker

McKain Power Rentals General Manager

Jason Barker, General Manager for McKain Power Rentals, brings 24 years of experience, with extensive knowledge in Portable Power, Temperature Control. His background has been focused on operations and sales in supporting Catastrophic events, such as Hurricanes, business development with industrial refineries and Nuclear Pants, Oil Field production on all levels, upstream Midstream and Downstream, in addition to developing and working in conjunction with Mechanical contractors on both the Portable Power & Temperature control sides of the business.

Anne Smith

Director of Marketing and Logistics

Anne joined MPS in 2021, assuming a marketing role and swiftly broadened her responsibilities to encompass the logistics. She developed the logistics consulting division Managed Power Logistics (MPL) to support partner organizations in managing their freight-related needs. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, she began her career in the energy sector at FirstEnergy Solutions. She prides herself on attacking problems and providing solution-based top notch service to customers. Anne is happiest spending time with her husband and their 4 very active children.
